What’s an election year season without some solid campaigns? But our voters, who once again awarded Grapevine Communications with this prize, admired the more selfless work on behalf of local nonprofits. C-Suite Communications took the first runner-up position this year, with Knight Marketing coming in at second runner-up and Brian Carlock Creative Solutions proved a solid vote-getter as third runner-up. —JO

The Boys and Girls Club Annual Report captures the organization’s mission in simple, clean design. They support all sorts of non-profits in the community, either by donating their time and talent or through financial support by attending fundraisers or making donations. Kathy Bender (on C-Suite): They live, breathe, work, eat and play here; they know and understand the Sarasota community and our passion for the arts. Their leadership fosters a culture of service, whether it’s serving on non-profit boards, pro bono work or setting aside a weekday for everyone to help with Habitat for Humanity new construction.
