SCF's "Senior Sensitivity-Customer Service Excellence"

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) launched “Senior Sensitivity – Customer Service Excellence,” a new program to help businesses and their employees improve their customer service skills, with older adults. The program consists of a three-hour, interactive session that allows participants to “walk in the shoes” of older adults. Activities simulate challenges such as loss of hearing or vision, difficulty walking and dealing with arthritis.
