Conservation Foundation Receives 4-Star Rating

Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast has attained the coveted 4-star rating awarded by Charity Navigator, for the second year. The rating, which is based on strong financial health and commitment to greater accountability and transparency, is earned consistently by less than a quarter of rated charities. This accomplishment signifies commitment to the sector’s best practices, efficiency and strong performance. A nationally accredited land trust, the foundation purchases natural areas, holds land conservation agreements and educates for responsible land and water stewardship in Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte and Lee counties.
