Bayfront Planning Organization Selects Managing Director

The Board of Directors of Sarasota Bayfront Planning Organization has announced William Waddill has been selected as managing director. After a selection process that spanned nearly six months, Waddill will lead the Master Plan development with design and planning firm Sasaki to reimagine the 42-acre city-owned Bayfront. Waddill previously served as Senior VP at Kimley-Horn and Associates and has 31 years of experience in transforming public spaces like the Bradenton Riverwalk, Perry Harvey Park in Tampa and Baker Park in Naples. Last month, SBPO announced internationally-renowned Sasaki as the selected design and planning firm tasked with creating a comprehensive and phased master plan. Waddill will begin his work as managing director on January 3, 2018.
