Manatee County Procurement Earns National Award

Manatee County Procurement has been awarded the 23rd Annual Achievement of Excellence in Procurement award (AEP) for 2018 from the National Procurement Institute, Inc. (NPI). The award is earned by public and non-profit organizations that obtain a high application score based on standardized criteria. The AEP is awarded annually to recognize innovation, professionalism, e-procurement, productivity and leadership in procurement. For 2018, there were 200 successful applicants, including 45 counties, 71 cities, 27 higher education agencies, 24 school districts, 26 special districts, and 7 state agencies.
