Sarasota County Early Voting Ends August 25

Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections Ron Turner is reminding voters that early voting for the August 28 primary election will end Saturday, August 25. Eligible voters may cast their ballots early, between 8:30am and 4:30pm daily through August 25 at any of the following five locations: Elections office, Sarasota County Terrace Building, 2001 Adams Ln., Sarasota; Elections office, Biscayne Plaza, 13640 Tamiami Trl., North Port; Elections office, R.L. Anderson Administration Building, 4000 Tamiami Trl. S, Venice; North Sarasota Library, 2801 Newtown Blvd., Sarasota; and Westfield Sarasota Square Mall, 8201 South Tamiami Trl., Sarasota. Florida law requires voters to present current and valid photo and signature ID upon entering the polling location and prior to voting. A voter who appears at a polling location without photo and signature ID will be allowed to vote a provisional ballot. On election day, Tuesday, August 28, voters must vote in the precinct in which they reside. Polls will be open from 7am to 7pm on election day.
