SCF Employee Named 2018 Larrabee Scholarship Winner

Cameron Smith, an employee in workforce solutions at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF), recently attended a nationally recognized continuing education conference on using the Augusoft Lumens technology for student registration. During the conference, Smith was named the 2018 Larrabee Scholarship winner, allowing him to attend a future conference. The scholarship recognizes innovative use of technology in lifelong learning.

Smith, who recently earned his Microsoft Office Master 2016 certification, attended the technology conference in Savannah, Georgia. The conference is designed to help users discover the best techniques for using and promoting the program. Participants also learn about new features and improvements, and how to customize their website.
