SRQ DAILY MONDAY BUSINESS EDITION
MONDAY JUN 10, 2019 |
Looking to indulge your travel bug without leaving SRQ? Beginning June 10, diners in downtown Sarasota can now enjoy a midday meal at Element to explore the restaurant’s new globally influenced lunch menu. Chef Niles Tarantik transports your taste buds on a cross-continent culinary adventure by infusing modern Mediterranean cuisine with flavors from South America and the Middle East.
Begin the meal by cooling off with one of Element’s chilled starters. Try the spiced shrimp cocktail with pilpelchuma peppers or a jumbo lump crab ceviche tossed with gremolata and fresh lime. Element’s signature house and caprese salads will be available during lunchtime, along with some new additions including Chef Niles’ Latin-inspired salad of crisp hydro bibb lettuce tossed with queso fresco, chermoula dressing and fresno chilies. A selection of artisanal sandwiches are available for those seeking a handheld lunch but don’t be shy to try a course from the ‘Sea and Land’ portion of Element’s menu. Pan roasted salmon served with asparagus crème, citrus asparagus salad and piquillo pepper-horseradish coulis is a fresh, inspired option. Or, be transported to France with Element’s Poulet Rouge accompanied by roasted summer vegetables, a pomegranate reduction, pan jus and bitter greens. Finally, enjoy a rotating chef’s section of charcuterie and cheese with condiments and a house made marmalade-- a true European end to the meal.
It’s okay to put those travel plans on hold. Prepare to taste bold flavors found throughout the globe in Element’s new lunch dishes without ever leaving Main Street.
Lunch at Element will be served Monday through Friday from 11 am – 2 pm. Element is a member of NOSH, SRQ magazine's content marketing program for local restaurants.
