The law firm of Fergeson Skipper, P.A., is pleased to announce Gerald (“Jerry”) Carp has joined the firm’s Wills, Trusts & Estates practice group as an Of Counsel attorney providing services in litigation, estate planning and administration. Mr. Carp was a founding partner of Mazur Carp & Rubin and chair of the New York-based firm’s Trusts and Estates practice. After 33 years, Mazur Carp & Rubin combined with Schiff Hardin LLP in 2013. Mr. Carp is admitted to practice law in Florida, New York and New Jersey. Mr. Carp is a peer-elected Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), where he has served on multiple committees, including fiduciary litigation, business planning and asset protection. He is named in the 2020 edition of The Best Lawyers in America, which also uses an extensive peer review process to capture a consensus opinion of leading lawyers.
