Executive Director Richard Russell Warns Patrons To Beware Of Ticket Scalpers

Business

Sarasota Opera House

Sarasota Opera has recently become aware that tickets to performances are being sold on reseller websites at inflated prices. Only Sarasota Opera sells valid tickets to performances at Sarasota Opera. Sometimes, a third-party website or vendor may offer to “broker” tickets for events to prospective attendees. Sarasota Opera is asking to please only purchase event tickets directly through Sarasota Opera. Sarasota Opera is not responsible for tickets purchased from online resellers (ticket scalpers). Tickets purchased from other sources may be more expensive and — most importantly — invalid. Executive Director, Richard Russell, urges all patrons to make sure that when purchasing tickets to Sarasota Opera performances, they are doing so from the only official ticket site: https://tickets.sarasotaopera.org.

Sarasota Opera logo is prominently displayed on the website and there is a photo of the opera house below it. Using this site guarantees patrons are receiving the best available price for tickets and are buying directly from Sarasota Opera.
