Doctor's Choice Implements Long-Term Safety Protocols and Offers Telehealth Options

Coconut Telegraph

Doctor’s Choice Home Care, Inc. has implemented long-term health and safety protocols that will continue to be enforced amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. While many safety measures have been in place throughout the pandemic, other procedures will continue to provide extra support for patients and employees across the state.

Going forward, Doctor’s Choice staff will continue wearing all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and are also required to conduct daily health assessments to ensure their own health. If symptoms are detected and in line with the CDC, patient contact is suspended immediately and clinicians enter self-quarantine. Patients will also be assessed prior to clinical staff entering each home. Most notably, Doctor’s Choice has integrated a new platform, Synzi, which will allow clinicians to conduct virtual visits with patients who don’t feel comfortable having others enter their home. Telehealth visits will be available long-term and provide an extra layer of precaution in helping mitigate the spread of infection to vulnerable populations.
