The Compass Hotel Anna Maria Sound hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the soft opening of the new 123-room concept that embodies Margaritaville’s laidback luxury with the convenience and comfort of a more intimate hotel setting. Developed by Floridays Development Company and managed by Hostmark Hospitality Group, Compass Hotel Anna Maria Sound is situated on a 220-acre private island community. Compass Hotel Anna Maria Sound features water views from every room, Margaritaville bedding, oversized bathrooms with rainfall showers and smart TVs, complimentary daily breakfast, high-speed Wi-Fi, meeting and fitness rooms, a Living Lounge where guests can peruse a selection of books, board games, cards, and other table games, a Welcome Cabana stocked with snacks throughout the day, and Margaritaville’s signature Provisions grab-and-go retail store. In addition, two restaurants will provide guests a taste of the island’s local cuisine. Floridays Woodfire Grill & Bar features local seafood, salads, and steaks perfectly paired with signature cocktails and craft beer, and the Compass Bar and Chill offers a light menu and drinks and a daily cocktail hour near the outdoor pool area overlooking the marina.
