Business

Telement - the Telehealth Provider for Florida Schools - announced the official launch of their new website that highlights the services available to Florida schools to help them meet the requirements of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Act (Senate Bill 7030). This bill serves to provide accessible mental health services to at-risk middle and high school students "who are referred to a school-based or community-based mental health service provider for mental health screening for the identification of mental health concerns and ensure that the assessment of students at risk for mental health disorders occurs within 15 days of referral.""This is a win-win-win for students, their families, and the schools that serve them," said Dr. Stacie Herrera, Owner of Telement which is based in Bradenton, Florida. "By partnering with Telement, our team of mental health professionals will work with you to understand the needs of the at-risk student and provide therapeutic support within the 15-day threshold. We work hand-in-hand with your school and caregivers throughout the entire process, helping to keep everyone informed along the way."
