Sarasota Memorial Hospital Offers Experimental Treatment for Pancreatic Cancer Patients

 Sarasota Memorial Hospital is one of just two hospitals in Florida enrolling pancreatic cancer patients in a Phase III clinical trial to extend survival and improve quality of life. Patients receive eight treatments at two week intervals of a unique drug-device combination called RenovoGem. Kenneth Meredith, MD (medical director of the Gastrointestinal Cancer Specialty Program at SMH), is leading the trial at SMH.
