A stylish partnership between Sirius Day Spa and We’ve Got Style came together to launch 'Style & Spa for a Cause', a new and indulgent way to give while enjoying an altruistic spa experience with a portion of proceeds benefitting Sisterhood for Good, a local 501(c) (3) all women, all-volunteer charity. “What an honor to continue to give back to the community that has supported us through this past year," says Karen Medford, owner of Sirius Day Spa. "A movement for women to feel good inside in out, knowing they are helping others."

The 4-hour luxury spa/style experience allows groups up to eight to have a special opportunity to have the ultimate spa day in Sirius Day Spa, Salon & Medspa's Serenity Lounge. Guests will toast to their “best self” with some bubbly while enjoying a light spa lunch provided by a new Lakewood Ranch business, Pineapple Kitchen, who will also be giving a portion of the proceeds to the sponsored nonprofit.

Guests will get to choose two Signature Services which include: blowout, mani-pedi, mud wrap, massage or facial. In addition to the services, a personal consultation with Becca Z. Towery, one of Sarasota’s Best Style/Image Consultants and Founder of We've Got Style, will provide a complete Color Analysis. “Style & Spa for a Cause offers a luxurious pampering experience and a way to give back to a local charity. It’s a way to make women feel special in a giving way," says Towery. "Giving back to one’s community is important and what better way to make a difference in the lives of women and children than with these luxury, beauty and style pampering services?!" 

Lastly, guests will receive a fabulous goodie bag of swag including products from Farmhouse Fresh, natural and organically grown skincare, as well as a color chart and a gift card for Sally Ullman Photography (also a member of Sisterhood for Good). 

When Sirius first opened in 2018, the business tied its parties and openings to nonprofits in the community including Big Cat Habitat, Circus Arts, Sunshine Kids and more. "I was then introduced to Sisterhood For Good’s founder Angela Massaro Fain and immediately became a member. Becca Towery is also a member," shares Medford. "We love the fact that it is an all-female, all-volunteer group that supports other local nonprofits. Every year we raise money to support the local community by offering grants. Any nonprofit can apply and the amount and vetting is voted on by the members. It has grown so much and collectively we love how much it has grown and helped the community."  In 2020, Sisterhood for Good raised over $65,000 for local nonprofits.
