The Realm Restaurant Group recently announced the reopening of Sage Restaurant after its annual month-long fall hiatus. The restaurant reopens along with Sage’s popular rooftop bar after being closed for over a year. Sage staff welcomed guests back to the restaurant and its fourth floor rooftop destination last week, having closed the open-air bar in June 2020 as a precaution due to the pandemic. “Our rooftop has been a huge draw since we first opened Sage in 2019,” said Sharon Carole, owner of Sage. “Many of our guests will start upstairs on the roof to order a cocktail before their dinner reservation, but we also see many people that come in specifically for the rooftop experience and view.”
In addition to the impressive view of downtown Sarasota, the fourth floor rooftop area offers a full bar and multiple seats for lounging. In the restaurant’s dining area, executive chef and Sage co-owner Christopher Covelli has worked with his culinary team to debut a new fall menu that includes delectable entrees, including smoked scallops with green garbanzo hummus and crispy shallots, and roasted half duck with red miso, port wine reduction and baby bok choy.
Earlier this year, it was announced that The Realm Restaurant Group purchased Bijou Café. Plans to reopen Bijou Café after renovations will be announced later this month. For more information, visit RealmRestaurants.com.
