Salon Suites of Sarasota, a new, luxury hybrid salon, invites the public to attend the grand opening & open house event planned for Friday, March 4, 2022 at 6pm. Located at 5250 17th St. Unit 103 in Sarasota, the Salon Suites of Sarasota grand opening event will feature food, drinks, free hair service gift certificates & giveaways from neighboring businesses, and “swag bags” of treats for the first 50 guests.

With a mission of empowering beauty professionals to “be their own boss and build their business,” without losing the “social aspects of community,” the space features private and semi-private suites combined with traditional booth rentals in a hybrid salon setting. The salon also features communal areas with amenities including luxury shampoo bowls, a full kitchen, coffee station and more, in a “modern boho aesthetic.”

“Salon Suites of Sarasota is quite literally a labor of love that began out of necessity - my fellow stylists and I fell in love with our space, only to learn that the shop owner was facing eviction leaving us 15 days to figure out our next steps. After deciding that we needed to take action, we created a space to not only benefit clients, but fellow stylists!” said Jamie Kingas, Salon Suites of Sarasota Founder, CEO & Hairstylist. “This new venture empowers our stylists to really “own” their space - it’s the perfect blend of feeling like you have your own salon, but you’re still part of an amazing, tight-knit community of other passionate, talented artists!”

The grand opening event, beginning at 6pm on March 4, 2022, will feature a ribbon cutting, music, a professional photographer and will give guests the opportunity to tour the space, meet the stylists and learn more about the new female owned & operated salon suite. The 3,250 square foot salon will eventually house additional hair stylists, eyelash extension specialists, barbers, estheticians, temporary makeup artists, spray tanning technicians, teeth whitening technicians, waxing specialists, health and wellness specialists and more.
