Sarasota Chamber’s Youth Leadership Sarasota Helps High Schoolers

Business

Applications are open for the Youth Leadership Sarasota Class of 2023. Leadership Sarasota, a program of the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, has available spots open for the nine-month program geared towards rising high school juniors and seniors. The hands-on program is tailored to allow students to explore career possibilities within the community. We want to give young people the knowledge, tools, and contacts to create successful leaders, and have a chance to serve their community. Participants will be immersed in Sarasota’s businesses, organizations, and every aspect of the community. All involved in the program will also gain community service hours through their participation. This is a unique, educational program that focuses on trying to keep young talent local. A recent graduate of the Youth Leadership Sarasota program, Class of 2022, shared, “I am extremely fortunate to have had this opportunity to connect with the community and experience and learn about a multitude of different careers.” Some of the targeted industry days include Arts & Culture Day, Media Day, Government Day, Commerce & Industry Day, and many more.
