SARTQ Artist Collective Teams Up with CoreSRQ for Annual Print Party

SARTQ Artist Collective will host it’s legendary annual print party at CoreSRQ’s North Branch, 1075 S Euclid Ave, Sarasota, FL 34237, on Saturday, November 4 from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm.The print party offers guests the opportunity to select from 14 different designs created specifically for this event by local artists. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own clothing items such as t-shirts, tote bags, towels, etc., any item that can lie flat under a screen and accept ink. Choose your favorite design to have printed for just $10 or pick three designs to print for $20. Blank adult t-shirts will also be available for purchase. Cash preferred, however Vemno will be accepted. This event is open to all ages and aims to be a family-friendly gathering. Throughout the day, local food trucks, including Big Blue Cheese Company and Bite Me Cookies by Cindy, will be on-site, ensuring that guests can have a bite to eat and hangout while they wait for their prints to dry. “This annual party gives the public a chance to interact with both art and artists,” Julie Kanapaux, Co-Director of SARTQ said. “The concept behind the print party is really to serve as an opportunity for the public to purchase art created right before their eyes while meeting the local artists.” SARTQ Sarasota Artist Collective aims to maintain a network of accomplished Sarasota artists, manage exhibitions and events, and collaborate with the community. Current members include Diana DeAvila, Danielle Dygert, Lori
Childers, Zachary Gilliland, Grace Howl, Julie Kanapaux, Ellen Kantro, Sarah Kraft, Dana Laag, Pamela Olin, Taylor Robenalt, Javier (Javo) Rodriguez, Emmie Wells and Sam Wuerfel.
