The Legacy Trail
For fitness fans in search of the perfect place to bike or rollerblade outdoors, the search is over with the newly-expanded Legacy Trail. This 18.5-mile multi-use recreational rail trail connects Venice to Downtown Sarasota and runs along a former portion of the Seminole Gulf Railway corridor. The smoothly-paved path offers free parking areas, a series of interpretive signs and stop stations. Multiple trailheads provide access to other amenities.
