Sixth Annual Alliance Gives Back Makes Economic Impact of $27,000

The Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance hosted their 6 th Annual Alliance Gives Back Volunteer Days on October 5 th , 6 th and 7 th 2023. It was a major success as the event broke records. Notable stats are: 950 hours donated across 35 projects, more than 350 volunteer participants, $27,000 in total economic impact, 600 care packages sent to the Caribbean, 2,400 lbs of food sorted and ready for distribution, 120 companies represented. "We are so proud of our record statistics from this year's Alliance Gives Back. Our employers went above and beyond to support our non-profits this year" said LWRBA President and CEO, Brittany Lamont. Volunteers dawned their matching AGB T-shirts for various opportunities including: landscaping, stuffing bags for fundraisers, creating cards and volunteer appreciation gifts, prepping event spaces for fundraising events, organizing food and getting it ready for distribution, helping facilitate events and much more “Volunteers like these are essential to The Florida Center being able to fulfill our mission of building strong families…one child at a time” said The Florida Center for Early Childhood in a Facebook post recapping their project. The LWRBA would like to thank the volunteers, participating non-profits, and sponsors (Always Presenting, Benderson Development, Fawley Bryant Architecture, Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation, Grace Community Church, Jessica Guadagno Photography, Limitless Investigative Solutions, ME&S General Contractors, and Willis Smith Construction) for making the 6 th Annual Alliance Gives Back a huge success.
