Thirteenth Annual Sunshine Summit to End Hunger Brings key Stakeholders Together to Solve Food Insecurity

The 13thAnnual Sunshine Summit to End Hunger is a free, high impact event that will explore research, programs and best practices to solve hunger in our communities. It presented by the Tampa Bay Network to End Hunger with partners Bread for the World and Florida Impact. It will be held Friday, Oct. 27, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m, at the UF/ IFAS Extension Hillsborough County, 5339 County Road 579, Seffner, FL 33584. The summit will provide organizers and the broader anti-hunger community a forum to learn, share and network while exploring best practices in solving hunger and increasing food security. The Keynote Speaker is Dr. Adam Briggs, Senior Director for Workforce Program Development at CareerSource Florida, which supports the state's workforce board. He also supports the work of the Credentials Review Committee (created under the REACH Act of 2021) and facilitates collaborative activities and initiatives involving partner state agencies (including DOE, DCF, and FloridaCommerce), local workforce boards, and other partners within the workforce, education, and business development systems statewide. His primary areas of professional interest are analytics, organizational assessment, and project/process/quality/change/and performance management.
