The company radiates a resolute commitment to trailblazing representation and inclusivity within the ballet world. Additionally, Azara’s outreach programs focus on neurodivergent and under privileged communities, welcoming them in curated dance classes that encourage expression through the universal language of movement. Kate Flowers, Co-founder Azara Ballet, explains how they are transforming the ballet culture, “We create emotionally vibrant professional dance performances featuring cutting edge choreography and diverse contemporary works of art. And we are very proud to tour local facilities to provide in-house lecture demonstrations and performances to those who may otherwise not be exposed to dance.” The "Expressions" premiere performances are Friday, November 17th at 7pm, and Saturday, November 18th at 2pm and 7pm at the Neel Performing Arts Center on the campus of State College of Florida located at 5840 26TH St W, Building 11, Bradenton, FL 34207.
