All Angels Church, 563 Bay Isles Road, Long Boat Key, is delighted to be hosting an extraordinary original icon exhibition from April 2- June 28.  This unique exhibition of Byzantine style icons is able to be viewed during church office hours, Monday through Thursday, 9am-1pm, or by appointment by calling the church office. Ms. Simoneau Hales has studied icon writing in the USA and abroad for many years, traveled to Russia for more study, and is now teaching online Icon writing retreats.  Her work is highly sought after by collectors and churches, and she has won several grants and awards for her paintings and icons. Creating original egg tempera and gold leaf gilded icons in a both traditional and modern style, she has completed several large commissions for churches in the USA and abroad.
