The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara, Announces Spring Winemaker Dinner Series Featuring Jonata and The Hilt Estate, and Grassini Family Vineyards

The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara–the premier oceanfront resort along the Gaviota Coast–welcomes premier central coast winemakers for monthly wine pairing dinners - Jonata & The Hilt Estate this April, and Grassini Family Vineyards in May. Both of these special evenings will be in the intimate and private Angel Oak –The Ritz-Carlton Bacara’s fine dining restaurant. The carefully curated four-course pairing menu will bring forth the tasting notes of the celebrated wines in the company of the winemakers. The pairing menu will be created in collaboration with Chef de Cuisine of Angel Oak Diego Seitour. Guests will enjoy a warm welcome at The Bacara Wine Tasting Room, before heading to Angel Oak for dinner and concluding at the private wine cellar room with a crafted dessert by Pastry Chef Omkar Kulkarni. The scheduled dinners are as follows, and reservations can be made now: April 26th, 2024 - Pairing Dinner with Jonata & The Hilt Estate Wines; May 16th, 2024 - Grassini Family Vineyards. The second dinner in the series on April 26th is the Angel Oak x Jonata & The Hilt Estate, hosted by their winemaker, Matt Dees, which starts at 6:00 p.m. Jonata & The Hilt Estate wines embody the perfect blend of tradition and innovation, resulting in a truly exceptional taste experience. Crafted with passion and precision, each sip is a testament to the rich history and unique terroir of Santa Barbara County. “From the vine to the bottle, our commitment to quality is unwavering, making Jonata & The Hilt Estate wines a must-have for any wine enthusiast. With every pour, we invite you to savor the essence of our estate and indulge in the art of winemaking at its finest.” The menu for Friday April 26th evening will begin with Passion Fruit Shrimp Ceviche and Passion Fruit Leche de Tigre then onto the first course of baked Camembert paired with 2021“Radian Vineyard“, Pinot Noir. Followed by the second course of tree way filet paired with 2019 Jonata, “La Sangre de Jonata”, Ballard Canyon. For the 3rd course, we will end with Chocolate Crunch Cake pairing with 2019 “Fenix”, Bordeaux Blend, Ballard Canyon.  Seats are $195 per guest, excluding tax and gratuity charges.
