Selby Gardens - Phased Reopening Following Hurricane Milton

Selby Gardens has shared the following timeline for the reopening of both campuses: DOWNTOWN SARASOTA CAMPUS - Tuesday, October 15, The Green Orchid by Michael's on East will reopen for its usual hours, as will the other newly built areas of Phase One of our Master Plan and our Museum of Botany & the Arts in the historic Payne Mansion. This Thursday, October 17, the Tropical Conservatory will reopen, so that everyone will be able to enjoy The Orchid Show 2024: PURPLE! in both the Conservatory and the Museum of Botany & the Arts in the Payne Mansion. We will be taking a phased approach on reopening the rest of the gardens as each area is cleared and safe for visitors; check selby.org and our social media channels (Facebook or Instagram) for further updates. The Fall Lunch in the Gardens on Wednesday, October 23 will proceed as scheduled and tickets are available on our website. The Orchid Evening with Sarasota Opera on Monday, October 28 will proceed as scheduled and tickets are available on our website. HISTORIC SPANISH POINT CAMPUS - As previously announced, Lights at Spooky Point has been canceled, and you can donate your tickets to our Hurricane Milton Recovery Fund or request a refund by emailing specialevents@selby.org. Cocktails at the Cottage will proceed as scheduled on Wednesday, November 6 -- which includes a Preview of our exhibition Patti Smith: A Book of Days — and tickets are available on our website. The exhibition Patti Smith: A Book of Days will proceed as planned with a Members' Preview on Friday, November 8 and public opening on Saturday, November 9. An Evening with Patti Smith and her Book of Days will proceed as planned on Thursday, November 14 — and tickets will go on sale for this special performance with our artist in residence to members on Thursday, October 17 at 12:00 noon before remaining tickets are available to the public.
