On Saturday, October 19th from 9am to 5pm, the Venice-Nokomis Rotary Club, in collaboration with a generous group of local stakeholders including the City of Venice, Sertoma Club of Venice, Venice High School Athletics, Laurel Civic Center, and more, will host a recovery drive to offer immediate aid to anyone impacted by Hurricanes Milton and Helene. This hurricane Recovery Drive is hosted by a growing group of community supporters, offering various resources and volunteers to aid with drywall gutting, debris cleanup, packing and storing of salvageable belongings, food, water, and more. It is made possible by the Venice-Nokomis Rotary Club, in collaboration with the Venice City Government, Venice Police Department, Sertoma Club of Venice, Women Sertoma Club of Venice, Venice High School Athletics, Girl Scouts of Sarasota County, Venice Art Center, The Venice Symphony, Laurel Civic Center, and other generous local organizations.
