Sarasota Memorial Research Institute and First Physicians Group urologic surgeon Robert Carey, MD, are participating in a research study evaluating a new diagnostic product designed to provide more detailed images of prostate cancer tumors and accurate staging of the cancer prior to treatment. Accurate staging is critical in guiding treatment decisions, especially when recommending surgical options, said Carey, the local investigator in the multi-state clinical trial.
