Grants Distributed in Hurricane Relief to Local Hospitality Workers

Oysters Rock Hospitality, through its Shuckin’ Good Cause initiative, in collaboration with The Center of Anna Maria Island and The Women’s Resource Center, has distributed $195,000 in relief grants to 419 local hospitality and tourism workers affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The funds were raised through the ROCK ‘N’ SUPPORT benefit concert featuring Lynyrd Skynyrd and supported by the Tourist Development Council of Manatee County. Grants of $500 for full-time employees and $250 for part-time employees have been provided, with applications still open for eligible workers.
