The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce’s Opportunities For All (OFA) initiative celebrated its 2021 Inaugural Summer Internship class. This year’s program successfully connected 21 diverse college students from Yale, Princeton, UF, USF, and many more to Chamber members and local businesses ranging from healthcare facilities to law firms.

These 17 local employers gave a lifetime opportunity to our community's bright, talented, rising future leaders through the Opportunities For All eight-week program. In addition, the internship provided access to cross-cultural, career-oriented experiences for those seeking to broaden their exposure to the professional work world. Moreover, 90% of the interns were minorities. So far, two firms have offered positions to their interns for continued employment. The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce fully funded this experience through the Opportunities For All grant, provided by the Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation.
