Mark Pritchett named as Gulf Coast Community Foundation President and CEO
Gulf Coast Community Foundation announced this morning that Mark Pritchett has been promoted as president and CEO. Pritchett, who previously served as senior vice president for Community Investment, succeeds Teri Hansen, who left the Foundation earlier this year to lead the Barancik Foundation. The appointment comes after a five-month search. “After a comprehensive, nationwide search, the Board identified Mark Pritchett as the best leader to advance Gulf Coast’s mission of transforming our region, together with our donors, through bold and proactive philanthropy,” said Ben Hanan, Gulf Coast Board Chair. Pritchett has served since 2008 and has been closely involved with numerous high-profile initiatives, among them the installation of TechActive classrooms in Sarasota County middle schools.
