Air Canada to Offer Year-Round Service to SRQ
Air Canada today announced it would offer nonstop flight service between Toronto and Sarasota year-round starting in May. The news marks the first time there has been year-round service to Canda available from Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. Flights between SRQ Airport and Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) will kick off May 2, when Air Canada will begin offering twice-weekly nonstop flights, on Thursdays and Saturdays. Right now, nonstop service to Canada is currently only available seasonally. Passengers on Air Canada will fly on Embraer-190 aircraft. These aircraft are configured with nine business class, 24 preferred and 64 economy seats. Through April 30 this year, the seasonal is still available daily, with YYZ-SRQ flights each morning 8:40am to 11:47am and SRQ-YYZ flights each afternoon 12:30pm to 3:25pm. Starting May 2, the twice weekly flights will happen each Thursday and Saturday, YYZ-SRQ each afternoon 2:55pm to 5:52pm and SRQ-YYZ 6:35pm to 9:23pm.
